If you have done any shopping around at all for a bouquet, you have probably noticed that there is definitely a current trend towards carrying a tiny tight bouquet that is made up mostly of green leaves and blossoms. If you see a bridal bouquet like this then you might be interested to know than this type of bouquet is often accented with tiny rare orchids that are known as cymbidium orchids.

Cymbidium orchids come in all kinds of different colors including a light green, white with a green tinge, and white, cream, ivory and light pink. However no matter what color the flower the dominant impression is of a very green plant.

Cymbidium orchids look best in small tightly wrapped bouquets. They also go very well with other miniature flowers such as tiny pink or white roses, viburnum, miniature white callas and pink lisianthus.

If you like Victorian or neoclassical style dresses or themed weddings then you will probably find yourself being attracted to this style of bouquet. The cymbidium orchid is also a very “hip” flower at the moment and followers of ecological and green movements love it.

The symbolism of this type of orchid is also very powerful and alludes to ideas about eternal fertility, youth and a love that renews itself even more every day. Perhaps that is why more and more women are choosing this flower to be the centerpiece of their bridal bouquets.
