According to the online newspaper the Olympian there are all kinds of options when it comes to winter wedding color themes.

Red on red is a favored color scheme for winter weddings as it contrasts so nicely with the idea of white and snow. A bright white wedding dress looks great with a warm red bouquet made of pink red, orange red and fire red flowers. Red flowers are inexpensive and widely available. Roses, miniature callas and all kinds of flowers come in this color. You can also add berries like holly and brown accents like pine cones or walnuts to the bouquet to give it a warm touch.

As it is winter you could consider an all white wedding including a white wedding dress and an all white bouquet that consists of baby’s breath, white carnations, white daisies, callas, roses and mums. Mistletoe is another flower that is associated with a winter wonderland as are white, gold and silver colored berries. Wrapping your bouquet with white, silver or gold foil or saint ribbon is also a nice touch.

Mixing white with blue is another wintry color schema. In this case you could create a bouquet from tweedia, lavender and white sweet pea. Blue roses, carnations and mums are also widely available at florists. Consider a bouquet of blue miniature roses, white miniature callas embraced by a baby’s breath and blue eucalyptus leaves. Blue lavender also look nice in a cascading bouquet with bright white orchids.
