There are some flowers that are definitely smellier than others. Freesia is a good example. Orchids are also incredibly fragrant. Some brides carry sprigs of lavender and eucaplyptus in their bouquets because they smell so nice. Even off beat herbs like sage or marjoram can add a hypnotic quality to the smell of the bouquet.

Formally it is known a sthe “Overnightsensation Rose” John Glenn took this rose on his space shuttle flight in 1998. The tiny pale pink raised plant, secured in a box, traveled 10 days through space and developed a very unusual scent, which smells like both raspberry and lemon. Shiseido optioned the rights this scent for its first Zen perfume. The rose plant is now sitting safely in the Greenhouse outside of New York where it’s breeding secrets are guarded.
