Sometimes a bride is looking for an alternative to a regular floral bouquet. On Flowerella, there are several articles mentioning alternatives such as feather bouquets, button bouquets, or skipping the bouquet and carrying a Bible instead. As we were looking around for more creative ideas, we came across this great find by AprilHilerDesigns on Etsy.
Imagine a nighttime wedding under the stars in a garden setting with lots of decorative lights, walking down the aisle with this vine basket firefly lantern.
This firefly lantern would be a fun centerpiece for an outdoor gathering or a whimsical alternative to bridesmaid bouquets. The vine lantern is filled with preserved sheet moss, dried grapevine, and faux fern fronds. It also includes a string of 15 mini LED lights. The lights have been tinted yellow and the battery box disguised in preserved sheet moss. Simply turn them on, and drop them in the lantern. Then you can create a wonderful magical atmosphere as you walk down the aisle.
