If you want to make your wedding gown very personal while at the same time give a nod to a stylish trend, then try tying a ribbon around the waist. The ribbon can be made out of any fabric including satin, velvet, sateen, gingham, grosgrain or silk. The trend entails tying the ribbon so that the bow is slightly off center to the right or left of the center of the waist.
