Shoe boots are a neat compromise between heels or full length boots. They are stylish and fun, can cover your feet in cooler weather, but don’t overheat them the way full boots do, and are often made of the more delicate shoe materials than the leather of boots.
This example is Rachel Simpson design.

If you don’t have a prized family tradition for your something blue, consider wearing it in a slightly surprising place: on your feet! While many brides turn to the traditional white or ivory shades for wedding shoes, a blue pair of heels can surprise and delight. The flash of color is subtle, but enough to draw a bit of attention to an otherwise overlooked accessory.
While a bright shade of blue might be too much, a muted sky blue might fit in perfectly for the more subtle bride.

While leather shoes may be easier to clean, cloth shoes can be damaged by anything from mud to a stray soda. A stain remover might do the trick in a pinch, but if you don’t have the ability to get out a stain, you may have to deal with stained shoes for the rest of the ceremony.
Another option: keep a spare pair of white shoes in your car or at the ceremony site. In case of any emergency, you can swap your shoes out for the second pair. You can buy an identical pair, but if your shoes are on the expensive side, you may want to buy a very basic pair of shoes as your backup.
