My wedding was in early May, and our ceremony was outdoors and the photo taken in the damp grass at a golf course, so my 2-inch heels left the wedding day looking much worse for the wear. Imagine champagne-colored satin covered in mud. Yuck. I did some searching and from the number of forums that have posts asking this question – how do I clean my mudding wedding shoes after the wedding? And it turns out that this is a problem that ails many of us. The bottom line is that your wedding day shoes are likely made of a delicate material, and all that you do to mop them up or blot out the mud may only ruin them. The best alternative is to take your dancing shoes to a drycleaner that specializes in wedding items.  If you can’t find a local dry cleaner that will help, you may want to try using some readily available Dry Cleaning Fluid that you can buy at a supermarket.
