And here’s a little additional background on the company behind these gorgeous heels, courtesy of Wikipedia – Stuart A. Weitzman is the designer of thehigh-end shoe company, Stuart Weitzman. His trademark is the use of unique materials (e.g., cork, vinyl, lucite, wallpaper, and 24-karat gold). Weitzman’s father, Seymour Weitzman, started a shoe factory in Haverhill, Mass., in the late 1950s called Seymour Shoes. Weitzman began designing shoes for his father’s business in the early 1960s.
