After working for thirty years in the financial industry, I felt a need for something more in my life. I decided it was time for a change. Since I always loved to create in the kitchen, I chose to enroll in a Bakery/Pastry Arts program at our local culinary institute. During my schooling, I realized that cake decorating is what I wanted to pursue. I loved it, I loved it! I had finally found my passion.

Kelly has always had a passion for baking and design, a passion that surfaced continually during her time at Albion College. Photography class had her snapping more shots of food than faces and rather than trekking through the snow to the cafeteria, her roommates found themselves eating warm scones for breakfast.

In 1974, Elena discovered her passion for cake decorating and design. Ten year later she opened one of the first cake specialty shops in South Florida.
Although many couldn’t imagine how a bakery without pastries and bread would work, she proved them wrong and now, twenty five seven years later, we continue to grow and are a very successful business.
