Every bride wants to look fabulous, feel like a celebrity, and be flawless on her wedding day. However, it is important to remember some style do’s and don’ts in order to prepare an elegant, classy, personal look rather than a cookie cutter bride.
- Do look like yourself on your wedding day – just the best version of yourself!
- Don’t get fake nails much longer than your fingertips. Shaking hands with guests shouldn’t be dangerous.
- Don’t wear high heels just to look taller in photos. Walking down the aisle easily is more important.
- Don’t show too much cleavage or leg. Keep the cut of your wedding dress tasteful.
- Do pick a gown that is timeless. Wearing a dress for its fashion fad will quickly look dated in your photo albums.
- Do seek professional hairstyling and/or make up advice for a polished look.
- Don’t let a professional (or family and friends) tell you how you should look. Speak up about what you want; it is your day after all!
- Do borrow your grandmother’s jewelry that will make your look traditional.
- Don’t go all out with diamonds or jewels that may bring attention away from your dress, and most of all, you!
- Do pick a bridal hairstyle that is not only stylish and beautiful, but also long lasting.
These are just a few tidbits of what every bride should follow. Being your beautiful self on your wedding day is best style any bride can have.
