For fun and luck, some brides still like to wear something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue. It can be fun finding these items with your bridesmaids, and, in general, it is not hard to incorporate them in your overall look.

Except the “something blue” item.

Unless blue is in your wedding color scheme, wearing a blue item may look downright strange. Don’t worry - you can still fulfill the lucky requirements of this little poem. Here are some ideas of how to incorporate blue items into your overall wedding look, even if blue is not your color.

Garters

Choosing a blue garter is a traditional way to incorporate the color into your outfit. Garter options can be quite inexpensive too. Check out this blue satin option from Target. It’s under $15.

Panties

Choosing blue underwear for the day is a fun, sexy way to add blue to your bridal wear. If you go this option, just keep one thing in mind - your dress is white. If you don’t have a full skirt, bright blue panties might show through! Check it out in all lights before you go with this option! Try Victoria’s Secrets for some sassy (yet affordable) options like the panties pictured above.

Removable Tattoos

A really neat option that you might want to consider is a removable, blue tattoo. Temporary tattoos are inexpensive and fun, and because they come in many colors, they’re a great options for someone who needs something blue. A well placed removable tattoo can be sexy as well (think of how cute “I love you” would look on your inner thigh for your wedding night). You can even look at pretty crystal options which can even look neat on visible areas. You can even get one customized especially for you, like the one pictured above from Dune Temporary Tattoos.
