If you’re the kind of girl who never wears makeup except maybe a trusty swipe of lip gloss, the intricacies of wedding makeup might be too much to bear. There is a lot to know, from how to apply things properly to what shades work best for you and even what brands will last the whole day.
If you don’t want to spend your wedding day worrying about your Lip Sense fading or whether your foundation is smearing, then don’t. It can come as quite the shock to a lot of brides, but you don’t have to be wearing makeup to look your best. In fact, if you never wear makeup, then wearing it for the wedding photos might look odd or even false years later when you take out your album to remember that wonderful day.
There are some people, like well meaning family and friends, who will react with shock to the idea that you will be wed bare faced, and some might even insist on “helping” you put some on. Whether you let them or not is up to you, but remember, it is always your choice for your big day. No makeup? Don’t worry about it!
