Wedding CanapeSometimes your guest find themselves waiting a bit for the wedding dinner to begin. Of course while waiting they are indulging in wedding cocktails, beer, wine and hard liquor. You might want to serve them some wedding canapes while they are waiting. Not only will this help with their hunger, it will counteract the effects of alcohol on an empty stomach.

The site Bridal Wave TV has some amazing ideas for canapés that are truly unique and artistic looking. Among the types of designer canapé suggested are simple vegetable based ones such as cherry tomatoes stuffed with gorgonzola cheese and olives. Other exotic offerings are taco shells stuffed with chili cream, mini burgers with scallops and red lettuce and ahi tuna in cucumber cups. For an amusing twist on an oriental favorite the site suggests fried wontons filled with minced chestnut paste and topped with fresh sage.

The good thing about these types of canapés is that they are light enough not to fill you up but substantial enough to help your guests ward off a hangover from too much alcohol consumption.
