Planning a wedding is hard work – and with all of the little details that come together for your big day, things will undoubtedly go wrong. Don’t sweat it! Most of the time no one will even notice.
- No one will notice if your bridesmaids walk down the aisle in the wrong order or with the wrong groomsmen.
- No one will notice if your tan isn’t perfect or your fingernails aren’t painted.
- No one will notice if you mess up a line of your vows.
- No one will notice if the limo is the wrong size or color.
- No one will notice if someone has to walk out with a crying baby.
- No one will notice if the frosting on your cake isn’t the flavor you ordered.
- No one will notice if the wedding starts a few minutes late.
- No one will notice if your centerpieces or flower arrangements aren’t perfect.
You get the idea! In general, even if people do notice that things are going wrong, no one will remember in the long run. On your wedding day, you have a million things to worry about, so some problems you’ll just have to let go. Deal with cold food and let the stress of an imperfect seating arrangement melt away.
After all, your guests will take cues from you. If you’re miserable on your wedding day, not only will others be nervous and uncomfortable, but you’ll find that people don’t want to be around you. As small things do wrong, try to stay stress free, and remember that the perfect wedding day isn’t about everything being absolutely right. It is about sharing a ceremony and party with the man you love and commit to for the rest of your life.
