The newest wedding gown trend of the 2008 fashion season has been tagged as the “short skirt.” Seeing how this short skirt look can be classy and sexy is easy. However, for those of us wary about trying out a new trend, consider why a short wedding dress could work for you.
It’s all about location, location, location. Do you have a hot wedding spot? Hot, as in warm temperatures that is. A short dress is ideal for any ceremony location where the heat will be a factor. Stay cool and breezy with a short number from sandy tropics to outdoor gardens.
Your legs go from here to… For those of you with drop dead gorgeous legs, I ask, why hide them on the day you should flaunt them? Now, being tasteful in this regard is necessary, but being stunning is definitely allowed.
Dress up was your favorite game. When we all were little girls, dreaming of our wedding and dancing around in short poofy dresses was an every day activity. If remembering these happy memories makes you smile with glee, then consider sharing that same sentiment on your wedding day. A bride is the realization of little girls playing dress up everywhere.

I have to say, when I was a young girl and thought of my perfect wedding i never imagined I would be in a knee high dress…. and after looking at these beautiful dresses… I can’t imagine myself wearing anything else.

I really want to go with a “unique” look for my wedding. The short dress stands out in a world of long strapless numbers. I especially love the “bubble hem”. It adds an extra bit of feminine touch.
